Abstract

The single crystals of organic nonlinear optical material 4 – Bromo 2-nitro aniline were grown by solvent evaporation technique using ethanol as solvent. The grown crystals were characterized by IR, NMR and mass spectroscopy. The crystal shows high second harmonic generation conversion efficiency.
