Relationsidp of selected kinematic variables with the performance of one hand underarm throw in Cricket

"The study of Relationship of selected kinematic variables with the performance of one hand underarm throw in cricket", was basically taken to see the kinematic variable involved in the enhancement of the performance of the one hand underarm throw in cricket. For the purpose of the study, 5 male cricket players were taken as the subjects who have represented L.N.I.P.E. in the interuniversity tournaments, and for the purpose of the study the linear and angular kinematics were used i.e. the centre of gravity at the moment release and the angular kinematics were the angles of the various joints of the body.

And to see the performance of the subjects the criteria was totally objective based and for that a scoring board was constructed, and for scoring the 3 points system was preferred and jive trials were given to each of the subjects and the best of the score was taken.

For the purpose of the analysis of the data the level of significance was kept at 0.05 level and the Pearson Product correlation was used to see the relationship between the kinematic variables and the performance.

The result of the study showed that there was no significant difference between any of the kinematic variable with the performance of the one hand underarm arm throw in cricket.
