The purpose of the study was to investigate the effects of weight training program on body fat percentage of divyaang children. Randomly 40 deafand dumb schools going students aged 12 to 16 years were selected and divided in to two groups each group consists oftwenty subjects. Group A underwent weight training program andgroup B did not participate in any training program. Duration of weight training program was thirty minutes to one hour per day thrice a week for 12 week. Pre-test and post-test data were tested for body fat percentage (subscapula, biceps, triceps and suprialliac). Statistical analysis ANCOVA was used to find out the effect of weight training program on body fat percentage of divyaang children. The level of significance of the study was set at O. 05. It was concluded that significant difference were found in all the four sites selected and favored weight training program for reduction of fat percentage.
