The aim of this study is media and its impact on sports. The relationship between sports and media has been a popular topic in recent year. Sports appear to be everywhere. Across the world, billion of viewers turn into television broadcasts of global events like Olympic Games and soccer, rugby or cricket world cups. Reports and studies on media sports institution, media sports audience, media sports texts, and sports journalism, abound in academic relationship between sports and the mass media in society.In this study we examine that how both the print and electronic media effect sports fans by increasing their knowledge, excitement, and interest in sport at every level. We have chosen random sampling and questionnaire methodology as it is easy to collect data. Surveys can be conducted faster and cheaper compared to other methods of primary data collection such as observation and experiments primary data gathered through surveys are relatively easy to analyse. Our sample size is around 30 students. We have done this in our college itself. A result was calculated on the basis of percentage. Conclusion: Sports and media have both a global and a local scope of operation and are bound together in a complex sequality, especially with the growth of pay to view sports events. The media production process emphasizes spectacle, drama and personalisation. Sports media generally promotes a reinforcement of a distinctive set of values associated with capitalism, nationalism in patriarchy and racism.
