Abstract

In this study health related physical fitness and nutritional status of saharia tribe of two talukas namely Shahabad and Kishanganj of BARAN District of Rajasthan was studied. 300 boys and Girls has been selected subjects for this study from both talukas of BARAN District. The Health related variables namely Cardio Vascular Endurance, Muscular Endurance and Flexibility was selected and for measuring Nutritional Status Body Mass Index of these students has been considered. In this study muscular endurance has been represented which was measured by fixed time sit ups. The results found no significance difference found in the Muscular Endurance of Boys and Girls students from Sahariya tribe of Baran District, Shahabad and Kishanganj Taluka. As the obtained ‘t’ value was less than the tabulated ‘t’ value. Further it was found from the results of the study that when compared between boys and girls using ‘t’ test there was significance difference found in the Muscular Endurance of Boys and Girls students from Sahariya tribe of Baran District, Shahabad and Kishanganj Taluka. As the obtained ‘t’ value was higher than the tabulated ‘t’ value.
