In this study 300 male athletes (150 from rural colleges and 150 from urban colleges) from various government colleges within the jurisdiction of Gandhinagar District, Gujarat who has represented their colleges in intercollegiate competitions has been selected for the study. The Anxiety Questionnaire developed by Rainer Martin has been used for this study. It was concluded from the findings of the study that there was insignificance difference found in level of Anxiety among Rural Players and Urban Players of Gandhinagar District of Gujarat State.
