The present experimental study attempts to investigate the effects of low and moderate intensities of aquatic plyometric training combined with yogic practices on cardio respiratory endurance. To attain the objective of the study, 45 junior athletes with the age group of 12-14 years from Alagappa Fitness Foundation, Karaikudi, Tamilnadu, India were selected as subjects at random. They were divided into three equal groups. (i.e. two experimental and one control group). The experimental group -1 (LIAPT-YP) assigned for low intensity of aquatic plyometric training combined with yogic practices and experimental group-2 assigned for moderate intensity of aquatic plyometric training combined with yogic practices. The experimental groups performed their stipulated training interventions for 12 weeks, three days in a week. The cardio respiratory endurance was tested by 9 minutes run/walk test, scores recorded in meters. After the 12 weeks training intervention the LIAPT-YP and MIAPT-YP produced 2.1 % of improvement. The enhancement of cardio respiratory endurance was similar in LIAPT-YP and MIAPT-YP.
