Comparative effects of circuit training and plyometric training programms on selected physical fitness and body composition components of obese school boys

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to investigate the “Comparative Effects of Circuit Training and Plyometric Training Programs on Selected Physical Fitness and Body Composition Components of Obese School Boys” To achieve the purpose 60 male students were selected as subjects randomly from various school of Mahemdabad Town. The age of the subjects will ranged from 13 to 17 years. It was hypothesized that there would be significant improvement in the Comparative Effects of Circuit Training And Plyometric Training Programs On Selected Physical Fitness And Body Composition Components of Obese School Boys. They were divided in three equal groups, Group-A: Circuit training group, Group B: Plyometric training group and Group C: Control group. The subjects had tested on selected variables at the before (pre - test) and at the end of the Experimental training (post - test) was taken after a 12 weeks. The obtained data’s were analyzed by ANCOVA. Based on the result of the study it was concluded that circuit training and Plyometric training program produced a significant development on the Selected Physical Fitness and Body Composition Components of Obese School Boys.
