The aim of this study was to see if there were any variations in performance between the winning and runner-up teams in the Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University's intercollegiate handball tournament. The fast break attempt, success, failures, and success percentages were employed as major indicators in this study. In descriptive statistics, the mean and standard deviation of fast break performance are shown for the winning and runner-up teams. Campbell (2007) and Richardson (2007) advocated using Chi square analysis to compare the proportions of fast break success (2011). The alpha level was set at 0.10 and the confidence interval was set at 90%. In terms of fast break success %, the winning team outperformed the losing squad. The findings of this study can assist coaches and practitioners in improving their performance by tailoring the training procedure to the performance indicators found in the study.
