Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus suffer from number of disease cardiovascular and metabolic functions, the present paper aims to provide recommendations for aerobic exercise training in patients with both type 2 diabetes mellitus. Diabetes complications are the main reasons behind morbidity and mortality preventable by healthy diet and physical activity. There are few studies about the effect of aerobic exercises on insulin resistance in human. Aerobic exercise training is a non-pharmacological treatment for diabetes mellitus that can improve whole-body insulin sensitivity and glucose tolerance. Research has indicated that plasma glucose levels can be lowered during aerobic exercise due to increased contraction-mediated glucose uptake, and whole-body insulin sensitivity improved during glucose clamp conditions.
