Postural deformities are the condition where some postural problem comes in the spinal cord and legs. A men cannot perform physical activities properly, when these problem comes in the body. Sometime these deformities come by birth and sometime due to wrong physical activities. When they arise, it is very difficult to work properly. Generally imbalanced diet, improper environment, poor development of muscles, obesity and diseases may be causes postural deformities. In addition to these causes, not performing exercises are also major causes of postural deformities. 20 Girls school students of the age group of 16 to 19 years were selected from different schools of Sirsa District by using random sampling method as subjects for this study. Only those students who suffer postural deformities namely Lordosis and Kyphosis were taken as subjects. Two groups, one is experimental and one is control were made, where each group comprises of 10 subjects. Six Asanas were selected for the students and practicing for one hour daily for 20 weeks. T-test used for comparison of pre and post results of experimental and control group. The results of the study showed that there is significant different found in experiment group whereas significance difference not found in control group.
