Abstract

In a progressive society, men and women are two wheels of the same chariot. Of these, attention is paid to men in traditional so-cieties. But women were neglected. Women are neglected in cultural and sports fields like politics, social causes, economics, and the main reason for this neglect is secondary treatment given to women. In or-thodox society, there are many types of restrictions in the educational progress of girls from childhood. These restrictions prevent them from changing their personalities and do not allow them to freely par-ticipate in sports competitions. From school level to university level, recently female students are enthusiastically participating in sports, both in team and field sports. Although this participation is increasing at the national and international level, at the local level this participa-tion is still small. In the traditional society, there is a distinction be-tween men and women and the attitude of parents is also reflected in patriarchy. Hence the participation of women is neglected. In the pre-sent research paper, the attitude of parents regarding women's sports participation has been reflected.
