The objective of this study is to explore and analyze the historical development of Olympic gold medalists in the 100-meter freestyle event for male swimmers. The research aims to identify patterns, trends, and influential factors that have shaped the success of athletes over time. Furthermore, the study seeks to examine the impact of various elements, including training methods, technological advancements, coaching philosophies, and cultural influences, on the performance of swimmers in this event.
To investigate the "Historical Development of Olympic Gold Medalists in the 100 Meter Freestyle for Male Swimmers from 1896 to 2020," a purposive sampling technique was employed.
It is concluded from the study that the historical development of Olympic gold medalists in the 100-meter freestyle male swimming event reflects the dedication, perseverance, and continuous pursuit of excellence by swimmers and their support teams. The combination of scientific advancements, technological innovations, strategic training methodologies, and specialized nutritional practices has propelled the sport to new heights, enabling athletes to achieve extraordinary feats. The journey of Olympic gold medalists in the 100-meter freestyle event is a testament to human potential, determination, and the constant quest for athletic greatness in the world of swimming.
