Comparison of explosive strength between the Judo and Wrestling players of district Kaithal, Haryana

The purpose of the study was to compare the Explosive Strength between the Judo and Wrestling players of Kaithal, Haryana”. To achieve the purpose of the study forty (40) junior level male players of Judo and Wrestling of Kaithal district, Haryana, were selected as subjects for the present study. From the forty (40) subjects, twenty subjects were junior level players of Judo of Kaithal, Haryana, for the year 2011–12. Remaining twenty subjects were junior level players of Wrestling of Kaithal, Haryana, for the year 2011–12. The subject's age ranged from 17 to 20 years. The variable for study was Explosive Strength and measured by using standing broad jump.

To Compare the Explosive Strength between the Judo and Wrestling players of junior level of Kaithal district, Haryana, ‘t’ test was used. The level of significance was set at 0.05 level. The result showed insignificant differences in Explosive Strength between the Judo and Wrestling players.
