To conduct the study, selected female badminton players were randomly divided into two groups i.e. experimental and control group respectively. The female badminton players forming the experimental group were subjected to eight weeks of fitness program while subjects from control group continued with their routine exercise regime. The agility of selected sub junior female players were assessed by shuttle run test. Results indicate that sub junior female badminton players from experimental group showed significant improvement in suppleness i.e. agility after participating in eight weeks fitness training program as compared to subjects from control group. It was concluded that fitness training program of certain duration and characteristics that is used in the present study can be used to enhance agility of sub junior female badminton players.
