The purpose of the study was to find out the effects of isolated and combined training of aerobic exercise and yogic practice on blood glucose of Type 2 diabetes. To achieve this purpose of the study, forty, Type 2 diabetic patients from Salem town, Tamilnadu, were selected as subjects, and their age was ranged from thirty five to forty five. The selected forty patients were divided into four equal groups. The experimental group-1(n = 10 AE) underwent aerobic exercise, the experimental group-2 (n = 10 YP) underwent yogic practice, the experimental group-3(n=10, AE and YP) underwent combined training of aerobic exercise and yoga (COM-T) and group-4 (n= 10, CP) served as control participants. In the study, three different training approaches were adopted as independent variables, i.e., aerobic exercise (AE), yogic practices (YP), combined training (AE&YP) and blood glucose was chosen as a dependent variable. It was observed by blood analysis and obtained value recorded in mg.dl −1. The pre and post test random group design was used. Ancova was used to find out significant adjusted post test mean difference of four groups with respect to blood glucose and Scheffe's post hoc test was used to find out pair-wise comparisons between groups with respect to blood glucose. The results of the present study proved that the three training interventions have produced significant altered on blood glucose.
