Abstract

The purpose of the study was to examine the Effect of circuit resistance training and aerobic training on speed parameter of college men. To achieve the purpose One Twenty subjects, age was ranged from 18 to 22 years were selected from Sri Venkateswara Oriental College, Tirupati, Sri Venkateswara Arts College, Tirupati & Sri Govindaraja Swamy Arts College, Tirupati. The subjects (n=120) were randomly assigned to Four equal groups of thirty men each. The groups were assigned as three experimental groups and one control group in a equal manner. The pre-test was conducted on all the selected variables of both Experimental and Control groups. The Experimental group participated in the circuit resistance training, Aerobic Training and combined Training programme for a period of 12 weeks. The subjects of the control group were not participated any Training programme. The circuit resistance training, Aerobic Training and Combined Training programme was scheduled for three days in a week. The post-test were conducted for all subjects on performance parameter of speed. To analyze the data analysis of covariance and Scheffe's Post Hoc Test was used. The result reveals that there was a significant difference on Speed in experimental groups than the control group.
