The purpose of the study was to find out the effect of plyometric training and SAQ training on selected physiological variable among college volleyball players. It was decided to select trained students because untrained may get negative effects. So the investigator selected college students as subjects and they were allowed to participate in their routine physical education classes. Since the subjects were susceptible for changes, due to growth and daily activities during the period of training, for these purpose 45 students from Arul Anandar College of Arts and Science, karumathur were selected with their willingness. The subjects were age between 18–22 years. The investigator had gone through the relevant literature in the area of plyometric training, SAQ training and their various aspects in association with the guide and other experts in this area. The variables were selected after considering the feasibility and availability of proper techniques and instruments. In this experimental study, two experimental groups and one control group were employed to assess the difference of this study statistically analysed with Analysis of covariance (ANCOVA).
