The purpose of the present investigation is to find out the effect of yogic exercises on selected physical variables among the University women students. To achieve the purpose of this study 30 University women students were selected from Alagappa University, Karaikudi. Further they were selected as subjects at random and their ages ranged from 18 to 25 years. The subjects were divided into two equal groups of fifteen subjects each. The study was formulated as a true random group design, consisting of a pre-test and post-test. The subjects (N=30) were randomly assigned to two equal groups of fifteen subjects each. The group I underwent selected yogic exercises, group II acted as a control group. The data were collected from experimental and control groups before and immediately after the training period as pre and posttest. The collected data were analyzed by using ‘t’ test and the level of confidence was fixed at 0.05. The result revealed that physical variables of college overweight women.
