Abstract

Onion cv. Nasik Red seeds were stored at different temperatures, viz, -18°C, 5°C and room temperature. Seeds were viable for 12 months under ambient conditions, whereas seed longevity was extended to 48 months at 5°C or -18°C without affecting the seedling vigour.
