Abstract

The addition of compound FX particularly in combination with modified media had a positive influence on shoot regeneration potential and on explant and callus survival of both pea and soybean. However, combination of FX and FP appears to supresss hoot formation and explant/callus survival in pea, while the same combination depressed shoot formation in soybean but did not affect explant/callus survival rates. These preliminary results have clearly indicated the use of compound FX in promoting in-vitro regeneration potential of pea and soybean cultivars.
