The hospital building is a highly complex unit and is subjected to rigorous demands as most of it is operational both day and night. Patient care is directly or indirectly dependent upon the performance of the hospital building, its utilities & services. Proper maintenance of the hospital building, its utilities & services is of paramount importance to the welfare of a patient and a major concern of the hospital administration.
