Ossifying fibromas are bony tumors, which derived from the cells of the periodontal ligament. They behave like, a benign bone neoplasm. In a recent WHO classification (2005), “the term ‘cemento-ossifying fibroma’ was replaced with ‘ossifying fibroma’.” These lesions usually grow slowly and are painless. These lesions are more common in girls and women rather than men and these lesions are seen during third and fourth decade of life. This bone tumour entails highly cellular, fibrous tissue which comprises of aggregates of calcified tissue similar tocementum, bones or both of them. We have reported a few cases of ossifying fibroma of maxilla and mandible and their clinic-radiological presentation.
