To study prevelance of insulin resistance in acne vulagaris. 30 patients were included in the study. Informed consent was obtained from all patients. we were looking insulin resistance in these patients. Among 30 patients 8 patients had insulin resistance. We found a positive correlation between insulin resistance and acne vulgaris. These findings suggest that treatments prescribed for insulin resistance are worth investigating as treatment for severe acne vulgaris.
