Human papilloma virus(HPV) is an epitheliotropic virus and usually a cause for Carcinoma cervix. Human papilloma virus being one of the most common cancer causing rganismin women worldwide. An immune histochemical analysis with pI6NK4a was performed in formalin-fixed, paraffin embedded samples of 50 cases. The aim of the study was to analyse the p16ink4a stained uterine cervical biopsy specimen histopathological findings. The p16INK4a immune expression was evaluated in all the cases and correlated with the histopathological findings.
