The present study aimed to assess the social and self-perceptions of children (4 to 8 years) regarding the esthetics of restored primary anterior teeth.
A total of 135 children seeking dental treatment were asked questions about the dental restorations of primary anterior teeth after showing them pictures of restored carious lesions.
They showed increased acceptability for Zirconia crowns as compared to other forms of restorations
The children can perceive esthetics of their anterior restored teeth as early as 4 years of age which is important when planning esthetic restorations for them.
