Dental professionals of all the specialties are often amongst the groups suffering from musculoskeletal disorders because of prolonged working hours with awkward positioning. Adding to it are the vibratory equipments and miniature instruments. The disorders ranges from simple sprain to carpel tunnel syndrome. Thus the only way is to prevent by encorporating principles of ergonomics to avoid illness and injuries thereby resulting in prolonged efficient work outcome.
