Abstract

To study the prevalence of prediabetes among Jenukuruba tribal children in Mysore district

Community based cross sectional study.

3864 children between the age group of 2–15 years of Jenukuruba tribal community.

The prevalence of prediabetes was 3.3%

lifestyle disorders like prediabetes are increasing in children of traditional population as well and is comparable to urban children
