The purpose of the study is to analyze the infant teacher’s literacy education ability on infant’s peer competence.
The subjects were 404 people of kindergartens in Ulsan, in where the survey was conducted from 6th Jan 2016 to 10th Apr 2016. For analysis method, SPSS program was used to implement frequency analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis.
Thus, first, there was significant difference in literacy education ability according to fant teacher’s social-demographic characteristic. Second, there was significant difference in infant’s peer competence per infant teacher’s social-demographic characteristic. Third, there was positively significant correlation in infant’s peer competence in regards to infant teacher’s literacy education ability. Such result illustrated that the higher the infant teacher’s literacy education, higher the infant’s peer competence.
This study implies to be the fundamental source for improving infant teacher’s education method so that infant’s peer competence can be improved.
