Mediating effects of hope and organizational effectiveness between authentic leadership and turnover intention

Abstract

This study was done to verify mediating effects of hope and organizational effectiveness between authentic leadership and turnover intention.

Subjects were surveyed by convenience sampling method in more 28 workplaces, and 333 workers were used for analysis. SPSS Win 23.0 was used for descriptive statistics, reliability analysis and correlation analysis, and AMOS 22.0 was used for structural equation analysis.

Main results are described further in this report. The main results are as follows. First, all of the subvariables of authentic leadership, hope, and organizational effectiveness, except for turnover intention, showed a statistically significant positive correlation. Second, authentic leadership showed only indirect effect on turnover intention. Third, hope and organizational Effectiveness revealed double mediating effects between authentic leadership and turnover intention.

Based on these results, we discussed policies to reduce turnover intentions of workers.
