This study is based on the most commonly used technology acceptance model for explaining and predicting the process of accepting information system technology in the process of using internet-only bank service for the users of financial institutions in Korea, This study was designed to investigate perceived usefulness, which is related to the degree of belief that it will help improve efficiency and performance by using instant information service at desired time and place, And the relationship between these factors was verified empirically.
Consumers who are not satisfied with the services of existing financial institutions are given new choices. In this background, there are ever-advancing digital technologies, and there are new financial players that provide new services by using them ahead of banks. These changes are caused by changes in the financial paradigm from the existing supplier-oriented financial services to consumer-oriented ones and further to customized financial services for individual consumers. Along with changes in the financial paradigm, existing financial institutions are facing threats and opportunities for innovation. Still, previous studies are mostly descriptive ones focused on service users, leaving socio-scientific research to be desired.
