In this paper, as seal evolves into today’s art genre, research has been conducted on how the patterns of each factor have changed, and what dynamics the patterns have had. The pattern changes according to the seal name, the dynamics of the pattern change according to the purpose of use, the pattern change according to the user’s taste and seal contents, and the pattern evolving from the seal to the study were studied. The evolution of these patterns was verified through the examination of real seal works. Seals evolved into today’s art of seal engraving by a variety of factors. Han-yin of the Han era became a classic in seal history by adopting the merits of the Qin-yin of the previous era, building its own pattern. Since the Sui-Tang era, seals that were only used for practical purposes have finally become recognized as works of art. It is a leap from ‘practical usage stage’ to ‘artistic usage stage’ depending on the purpose of use. This led to the Renaissance era of seal, with a change in the dynamic composition of the pattern of use of the seal. Artist Wen-Peng showed a pattern that applied an artistic sense to the seal and artist Deng-Shiru showed a breakthrough pattern that introduced his calligraphy to the seal. The seal evolved into a unique art genre, art of seal engraving, with the pattern of each factor changing, maintaining the close dynamics of each pattern.
