The purpose of this study is to propose a solution that enables local governments to activate food tourism by studying the influence of involvement and motivation of food tourists on participation activity and satisfaction. The results of this study are as follows. First, participation in food tourism affects food tourism participation activities. Second, food tourism motivation affected food tourism participation activities. Third, it was found that activities participating in tourism travel affected the satisfaction of food tourism. According to the results of the study, food participation, food tourism motivation and participation activity greatly influenced the satisfaction of food tourists. This will be an important factor for tourists participating in future food tourism festivals. Therefore, the tourism service manual and the participatory education program for food tourism motivation and participatory activities are important as examined in this study. In the future, the program should be expanded to increase the satisfaction of food tourists. In addition, food tourists should become famous places as research data on factors of participation in food tourism, motivation of visit, and returning visitors.
