Various studies have demonstrated that an increase in bMI leads to a decrease in HRQOL, especially in regards to physical aspects and pain, even in the absence of any other chronic disease. A cross sectional comparative design study was carried out to compare the physical and psychosocial aspect between two subjects (TSH disturbance and TSH un-disturbance). A Simple random samples were used to gather the sample from Al-Kindey Medicine College/Obesity Research and Therapy Unit; the study starting from 16th november 2017 to the 5th march 2018. The statistical analysis of the study sample demonstrate that the majority (85.5 %) of the sample were females for TSH disturbance group; while (72.7%) for TSH un-disturbance group. In relation to the age group the highest percentage (34.5 %) of TSH disturbance and (27.3%) of TSH un-disturbance patients were (41-50) years old. Regarding marital status the highest percentage (74.5 %) of TSH disturbance and (56.4 %) of TSH un-disturbance of the study sample were married. About the educational level the highest percentage (27.3 %) for both; TSH disturbance and TSH un-disturbance patients were at intermediate school. About BMI; (76.4%) of TSH disturbance and (65.5 %) of TSH un-disturbance patients were suffering from Obesity class III. The obese patients with TSH un-disturbance records higher level in the physical and psycho-social domains than TSH disturbance group.
