This paper aimed to analyze the content of the practical activities of the physics writers for the first stage of high school according to the standards of the good educational laboratory (GLP). In order to achieve this objective, the researcher reviewed the studies that dealt with the good educational laboratory and its requirements. It prepared a list of the GLP standards, which consisted of (4) fields and (55) standard, and then presented them to a group of experts and specialists in the methods of teaching science and quality of education to express their opinions and observations. The analytical descriptive approach was used as a tool for analyzing the physics book content in light of the GLP standards. The content of the practical activities of the authors of physics for the first stage of high school preparatory to a very A low percentage, where the proportion of inclusion (31.2%). It was also found that there was did not adopt a standard through which to prepare practical activities according to the GLP standards. These findings indicate that the GLP standards should be included in physics books activities for the importance of activities in stimulating students thinking and making them able to explore.
