The current study aims to understand the structure, functions and major impacts of Vitamin B12 on human body. The researcher had done an extensive literature review to understand the impact of vitamin B12 in humans. Health care professionals should be aware about importance of vitamin B12.
It was concluded that vitamin B12 is one of the major nutrient required for healthy life. It has impact on our cognitive, neurological and other aspects of health. Abnormal serum levels may cause serious health problems and irreversible neurological and genetic impairments.
