To Compare the Efficacy of Muscle Energy Technique and Maitland Technique on Functional Performance in Adhesive Capsulitis

Abstract

To compare the effect of Maitland technique and muscle energy technique in adhesive capsulitis. It is common in the age group of 35 to 60 years. In this the maximum disability has been measured by SPADI scale

30 subjects were selected with adhesive capsulitis.

There is significant effect of muscle energy technique seen in group A.

There is a statistically significant difference between both the group in improvement in group receiving muscle energy technique and Maitland technique. But there is a marked improvement seen in group A subjects with adhesive capsulitis.
