A Snoezelen Tent House is a multi-sensory environment (MSE) in which different forms of stimuli such as visual, auditory, tactile and proprioceptive may be presented together. The tent house allow children to select and receive the type of sensory input and the amount of input individual required and is typically implemented in order to increase relaxation, feeling of happiness, concentration, alertness, calmness, and general awareness with overall engagement. This article reviews existing literature and empirical evidence related to use of Snoezelen room and its effects. The results of this may benefit therapist, educators, parents, and design professionals in designing beneficial learning environments for all the children.
