comparison between the effects of Deep Cervical Strengthening Exercise using Pressure Biofeedback and PNF exercise on Non Specific neck pain.
Comparative study.
All subjects were included from forest research institute at Dehradun.
A total of 20 subjects were recruited for the study on the basis of inclusion and exclusion criteria after signing the informed consent form. The subjects were divided into two groups (PNF exercises program & Deep Neck flexor Strengthening).
Visual Analog Scale (VAS), Cervical Reposition sense & Joint positioning error.
Showed significant improvement in the outcome measures in both the techniques. However, both methods were found to be similarly effective in decreasing pain and improving JPE the results for VAS (p=1.000) and JPE (p=0.529) were taken after intervention in both groups, there was a non-significant difference.
Both methods proved to be similarly effective and can be equally used to correct the joint position error and reduce pain irrespective of the other.
