The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of traditional toys exercises as an adjunct to hand therapy to improve functional outcome of hand in children's with post traumatic forearm bone fracture.
An experimental study was conducted on 10 post traumatic forearm bone fracture children with age range 5–11 years which were selected as per inclusion and exclusion criteria. Before and after treatment subjects were assessed by goniometry (ROM), Manual muscle testing (MUSCLE STRENGTH) and Michigan hand outcome questionnaire (FUNCTIONAL OUTCOME).
The statistical analysis showed extremely significant improvement in ROM muscle strength and functional outcome with p value <0.0001
The study showed improvement in functional outcome of hand in subjects with forearm bone fracture.
