To compare the dynamic standing balance in individuals with osteoarthritis Knee and in age, gender, body mass matched controls using simple functional tests

Dynamic Standing balance is assessed through Step Test and Functional Reach Test
Paired “T” test & Spearman “P” Coefficient were used to analyze the data
Poor dynamic standing balance is evident in OA group (P<0.0001) than the controls when assessed through step test and functional reach test. Step test and functional reach test agreed with each other in assessing dynamic standing balance.
Dynamic standing balance is impaired in individuals with OA Knee when compared with age, gender and BMI matched controls. There is good agreement between the step test and functional reach test in assessing dynamic standing balance in OA Knee.
