To analyse the effect of Body Mass Index (BMI) on posture in industrial workers
The study was included one hundred subjects, involved in industrial work for minimum of 5 years, age group ranging from 25 to 40 years. Plumb line, Rapid upper limb assessment score-sheet were used for static and dynamic postures measurement.
Multinomial logistic regression analysis test showed that static posture was not significantly affected by body mass index, however dynamic posture was significantly affected by body mass index.
There is significant effect of body mass index on dynamic posture.
