Physiotherapy professionals restore healthy lifestyle, reduce pain and maintain optimum function of the body. In the other hand public health try to prevent diseases, promote healthy life and work towards making a disease free world. In this article it is explained how both the profession can coincides and merges. Present burden of diseases within India and lack of sufficient human resource making the situation difficult. Addition of physiotherapist in the team for prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of Cardio vascular diseases, diabetes, cancer, respiratory conditions, hypertension and other chronic conditions can be more cost effective and better prognostic way. In present day situation if those bio-medically trained professional assessed, trained appropriately then utilization can be possible in a verity of direction and symbiotic relationship can be created between both the professions.
