The effect of pre-harvest spray of calcium (CaCl2, 0.3% and 0.5%), Auxin (50 ppm and 1000 ppm), Kinetin (10 ppm and 20 ppm) and Alar (500 ppm and 1000 ppm) on quality parameters of Red Delicious cultivar of apple was studied. All the treatments exept Alar increased fruit weight, volume and size where as Alar reduced it. Highest percentage of fruit colour (82%) was recorded under Alar (1000 ppm) treatment. Fruits stored under ambient conditions and with 0.5% CaCl2 spary showed a maximum storage life of 72 days.
