Abstract

Foliar application of penicillin has a suppressive effect on male flowering but has promotive effect on fruit setting and development of Luffa acutangula. Content of chlorophyll of leaves of the treated plants was increased showing flourish in vigor of the plant. The quality of the fruits was improved in the penicillin treated plants.
