Contents of Fe, Zn and the activity of catalase and alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH) were determined for the rice plants, of Meghalaya at different growth stages, The decreasing trends of the contents of these trace elements and the activity of the corresponding metallo-eniymes with the age of the plant are found to be similar.
