Abstract

Presoaking of Groundnut seeds (Arachis hypogaea L.) in solutions of chlorflurenol (CFL) and cycocel (CCC) resulted in higher yield under drought conditions. Studies on drought indices like relative watercontent (RWC), proline accumulation and transpiration supported the antitranspirant action of these chemicals.
