Abstract

Foliar application of cephalexin reduced the vegetative phase and extended the flowering (reproductive) phase of Luff a acutangula. This antibiotic has a suppressive effect on male flowering, but also has a promotive effect on female flowering, fruit setting and development. It increases the length and girth of the mature fruit and fruit weight.
