Abstract

Presowing hardening treated wheat seeds exhibited high percentage of germination and dry weight of seedlings. Germination index and seedling growth also showed the superiority of treated (T) seeds as against untreated (C) seeds. It was observed that presowing hardening of seeds results in better establishment of seedlings.
