An experiment was conducted with growth retardant (CCC) and rock phosphate on growth and development of summer green gram var. Pusa Baisakhi with 15 treatment combinations in factorial randomised block design. Normal package of practices for green gram were followed by manurial treatments and retardant application. Whey treated rock phosphate @ 60 kg P2O5/ha and double spraying of cycocel (100 ppm) gave the best results on plant growth, yield attributes, pigmet content in leaves and grain yield (kg/ha). These results were closely followed by the application of single super phosphate and single spray of cycocel.
